New ASWB Exam Update: Scheduled 10-Minute Break!

ASWB has added a scheduled 10-minute break during the licensing exam to improve your testing experience!

• After completing the first 85 questions, you’ll be prompted to review and submit that section.

• Once submitted, your answers are locked and can’t be changed.

• Then the clock pauses for 10 minutes—use the restroom, grab a snack, and reset without losing test time!

🔹 Unscheduled breaks are still allowed (just notify the proctor), but the clock keeps running during those.
